STORING THE MISUNDERSTANDING
Research display, 2026.
Developed within the Écumes programme at Dos Mares, Storing the Misunderstanding emerged from a collective process of examining each artist's research, identifying their field of inquiry and position, and translating these into an adaptable scenographic principle.
The installation takes the form of industrial shelving organised across five levels: economy, endurance, misunderstanding, transmission and resistance. These notions reflect transversal experiences of responsibility and behaviour that shape my relationship with the world, both within and beyond the field of art.
Notes, objects, tools, clothes, prototypes and fragments coexist without distinctions of status, and the structure seeks to make perceptible the circulation of ideas, gestures and experiences throughout my research.
Conceived as an adaptable scenographic system, Storing the Misunderstanding gives material form to the connections between my experiences and artistic processes, proposing a way of making my thinking visible rather than presenting a fixed account of my practice.
